Sources Sought - Color Printer Plotter

Background
The Wilmington VA Medical Center (WVAMC), part of the Department of Veterans Affairs, is seeking to acquire a new Large Format Printer/Plotter for use by their Engineering and Construction Staff. The current Multifunction HP Printer/Plotter is no longer functioning effectively and has been deemed beyond reasonable repair.

The goal of this acquisition is to enhance the capabilities of the Engineering Department by providing a reliable printing solution.

Work Details
The contract requires the provision of one (1) Brand name or equal Cannon-T60 2-Roll Color Printer/Scanner/Copier or a similar unit. The specifications for the equipment include:
- Quantity: 1
- Item # Description: T60 2-Roll Printer with Top Delivery Rack, which includes Scanner Express IV with Professional Software and Adobe Postscript Driver.

Salient Characteristics:
- Dimensions: Must fit within 90” (w) x 40’ (d).
- Media Information: Paper size no less than 36” (W) x 650’ (L). Capable of producing instantly dry prints on flexible media including bond, film, Tyvek, polypropylene, and recycled paper.
- Must hold at least 2 rolls of paper.
- Minimum Print Quality: 600 x 600 dpi.
- Ability to Print / Copy / Scan vendor-supplied construction plans/floor plans.
- Full color printing capability.
- Energy Star certified.
- Include start-up supplies for installation.
- Delivery and installation included.
- Manufacturer's standard warranty.

Period of Performance
Delivery days are Monday through Friday during normal work hours defined as 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM, excluding national holidays.
