Background
The solicitation is for Residential Reentry Services and Home Confinement Services in the Orlando area within Orange County, Florida. The services will be provided on an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity type contract with firm-fixed unit prices according to the guaranteed minimum quantities and estimated maximum quantities outlined in the schedule. The period of performance for any contract awarded will be for a one-year base year and four one-year option years.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide Residential Reentry Center (RRC) services (for In-House RRC beds) and Home Confinement Services (for Home Confinement placements) for male and female Federal offenders held under the authority of various United States Statutes located in Orlando area within Orange County, Florida. The services include providing fixed monthly rates for different Average Daily Population (ADP) levels of Federal Offenders, as well as inmate day rates for different ADP levels. The contractor is required to ensure that offenders are accurately accounted for while in the facility, at work assignments, and in all other activities outside the facility.
Additionally, the contractor must have a process for assessing the individual needs of each offender to assist with their reentry into the community.

Period of Performance
The contract includes a base period starting from the date of performance through 12 months, with four one-year option years. The anticipated periods of performance are based on the assumptions that funds are available.
The initial performance period will depend on the actual date of award and the issuance of a written award or acceptance of offer mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror to result in a binding contract.
