Background

The contractor shall provide the following Almen strips:

- Quantity: 15,000 Each
- Thickness: .051 inches (1.3 mm)
- Flatness (Pre-Bow): ± .0005 inches (±0.0127 mm)
- Hardness: 45 to 48 Rockwell C Hardness
- Thickness Tolerance: ± .0005 inches (±0.0127 mm)
- MFR PART NR: A-1s

2. **N-1S Almen Strips**
- Quantity: 15,000 Each
- Thickness: .031 inches (0.79 mm)
- Flatness (Pre-Bow): ± .0005 inches (±0.0127 mm)
- Hardness: 45 to 48 Rockwell C Hardness
- Thickness Tolerance: ± .0005 inches (±0.0127 mm)
- MFR PART NR: N-1s

The strips must conform to SAE J442 standards and are used for medium and low intensity applications respectively. Deliveries will occur annually with a total of 15,000 units each for A-1S and N-1S strips per year.

Period of Performance
The ordering periods for the contract are as follows:
- Period One: March 27, 2025 - March 26, 2026
- Period Two: March 27, 2026 - March 26, 2027
- Period Three: March 27, 2027 - March 26, 2028
- Period Four: March 27, 2028 - March 26, 2029
- Period Five: March 27, 2029 - March 26, 2030

The place of performance is at the Shot Peen Branch (P64B60) in the Special Process Division at the Corpus Christi Army Depot located at 10221 Ave E, building 8, stop #24, door 107, Corpus Christi, TX 78419-5260.
