Background
This contract is issued by the Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) under the Material Engineering Branch (MER) to perform a one-time initial inspection of a Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) and Energy Dispersive Spectrometer (EDS).

The goal of this contract is to ensure that the equipment meets Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards, allowing it to be covered by an Annual Warranty Contract. The SEM/EDS instrument is crucial for supporting forensic failure analysis programs for rotary wing aircraft and providing critical production support for engine test cells, flight tests, and incoming field samples.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide a one-time initial inspection of the Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) Energy Dispersive Spectrometer (EDS), model JSM-IT500LA, serial #MP1383000780078, in accordance with OEM standards.

The Contractor must provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, quality control, and other items necessary to perform the services defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS). Specific tasks include:

1. Performing an initial inspection of the SEM/EDS instrument according to OEM standards.
2. Providing a copy of the inspection results to the Government.
3. Submitting a service report via email upon completion of inspection and/or repair.
4. Submitting an invoice into Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) within 30 days of work completion.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract shall not exceed 90 days from the date of award.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Corpus Christi Army Depot.
