Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR)

To provide game-changing capabilities to our warfighters, DARPA must have the tools to operate at the pace of innovation. In order to capitalize on small business innovation, DARPA is piloting a new approach to advertise SBIR and STTR funding opportunities on a "just-in-time" basis, outside of the three pre-determined announcements issued at the DoD level. SBIR and STTR Opportunities (SBOs) will be announced under this BAA. Only proposals submitted in response to an active corresponding SBO will be evaluated for funding.
The purpose of Amendment 01 is to update Section 2.5 and Appendix B, Section B.3.c. All changes are highlighted in yellow. An updated Sample SBIR Other Transaction for Prototype Agreement attachment is included.
The purpose of Amendment 02 is to announce the pre-release of two SBIR/STTR Opportunities (SBOs). See Amendment 02 attachment for details. These SBOs will open for proposals on June 5, 2019 and close on July 3, 2019.
The purpose of Amendment 03 is to announce the pre-release of five SBIR/STTR Opportunities (SBOs). See Amendment 03 attachment for details. These SBOs will open for proposals on July 8, 2019 and close on August 6, 2019.
The purpose of Amendment 04 is to announce the pre-release of one SBIR/STTR Opportunity (SBO). See Amendment 04 attachment for details. This SBO will open for proposals on July 23, 2019 and close on August 23, 2019.
The purpose of Amendment 05 is to announce the pre-release of two SBIR/STTR Opportunities (SBOs). See Amendment 05 attachment for details. These SBOs will open for proposals on August 13, 2019 and close on September 12, 2019.
The purpose of Amendment 06 is to update the close date, Section 2.5 and Appendix B, Section B.3.c. All changes are highlighted in yellow. An update to the "Materials-Supplies" tab of the DP2 TEMPLATE_VOL 3_COST PROPOSAL is also included.
The purpose of Amendment 07 is to provide an update to the attachment PHASE_I_TEMPLATE_VOL_3_COST_PROPOSAL.
The purpose of Amendment 08 is to announce the pre-release of five SBIR/STTR Opportunities (SBOs). See Amendment 08 attachment for details. These SBOs will open for proposals on September 10, 2019 and close on October 10, 2019.
