Small Business Event - IRS Vendor Outreach Session

The Internal Revenue Service, Small Business & Reporting Team, will be hosting a Program Manager/Contracting Officer (PM/CO) Vendor Outreach Session (VOS) located in Lanham, MD on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm. Firms with the following Information Technology NAICS are welcomed to attend: 541519; 541512; 443120; 511210; 541511; & 334111; as well as firms whose PRIMARY NAICS involves general construction. NOTE: There will be only ONE program office available to meet with General Construction firms. Appointments made by General Construction firms attempting to meet with IT program offices will be cancelled.

The CO/PM VOS will be held at New Carrollton Federal Building (NCFB), BUILDING A, 5000 Ellin Road, Lanham, MD 20706.

The VOS's are pre-arranged 15-minute appointments with Contracting Officers and Program Managers, jointly, from various Information Technology components (and 1 Real Estate and Facilities management component) of the IRS. These sessions provide the small business community an opportunity to discuss their capabilities and learn of potential procurement opportunities. There is no cost to the small business vendors.

Registration opens on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 and closes on Wednesday, January 22, 2018. To schedule an appointment, please follow the instructions below (NOTE: APPOINTMENTS WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED VIA THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW. PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY AS APPOINTMENTS FILL UP QUICKLY. APPOINTMENTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED BY EMAIL OR PHONE, AND WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED BEGINNING AT THE DATE/TIME INDICATED. EMAILS REQUESTING A VOS APPOINTMENT WILL NOT BE ACKNOWLEDGED:

1. Go to https://sbecs.treas.gov and register your firm to do business with the Department of the Treasury (if you have not already done so). Please read "New to SB-eCS?" before you begin.
2. After registering your firm, log into SB-eCS using your login and password and select "Schedule Vendor Outreach Sessions."
3. Select the upcoming IRS VOS - New Carrollton Federal Building then select the IRS Program Office you wish to meet with.
4. Print a copy of the appointment schedule and BRING IT WITH YOU TO THE EVENT.
In the event OPM issues the Federal Government Closed or a 2-hour delayed opening due to inclement weather, VOS will be cancelled. On the morning of the event, please visit www.opm.gov.

SPECIAL NOTE for VOS Participants: The IRS NCFB is a secure location. A clearance list is generated based on the registered person's name. If a substitute will attend VOS, please send the name of the person to AWSS.SBRO@IRS.GOV to add to the clearance list at least 3 days prior to the day of the event. Please add "VOS Participant" to the subject line of the email.

All participants must appear on the clearance list, therefore, WALK-INS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED to attend VOS due to security requirements.
ALL PARTICIAPANTS MUST ENTER THROUGH BUILDING A, WHICH IS ADJACENT TO THE NEW CARROLLTON STATION METRO. THERE IS NO PARKING PROVIDED BY THE IRS.
