Shore Protection Project St. Augustine Beach Renourishment 2023, St. Johns County, Florida   3

The proposed project will renourish approximately 2.8 miles of shoreline along Anastasia State Park and St. Augustine Beach about 4.1 miles south of St. Augustine Inlet in St. Johns County, Florida, between FDEP Range Monuments R-136 and R-151
The project consists of construction of a beach berm as shown in the drawings. Sand for the project will be dredged from Borrow Area S-1, approximately six miles offshore of St. Johns County in Federal waters. Project work also includes, but is not limited to, beach tilling, vibration monitoring, turbidity monitoring, and environmental species monitoring.
