Background
The contract is issued by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for a Service Maintenance Agreement for a Thermo Q Exactive Orbitrap Mass Spectrometer. Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:

(1) Monitoring technical progress, including surveillance and assessment of performance, and recommending changes in requirements;
(2) Interpreting the statement of work and any other technical performance requirements;
(3) Performing technical evaluations as required;
(4) Conducting technical inspections and acceptances as required by this contract;
(5) Assisting in resolving technical problems encountered during performance.

The designated authority will have the power to direct or negotiate changes in the statement of work, modify or extend the period of performance, change delivery schedules, authorize reimbursement for incurred costs, or otherwise alter any terms of this contract.

Period of Performance
The period of performance shall not exceed 5 years from the date of contract award.
