SEPTIC SERVICES, Coeur d'Alene ID BLM   2

Background
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is issuing this contract for septic services at various recreation sites in the Coeur d'Alene Field Office, Idaho. The goal of the contract is to ensure proper maintenance and disposal of wastewater from vault toilets and holding tanks, adhering to all applicable federal and state regulations.

Work Details
The contractor will provide labor, equipment, supplies, materials, and transportation necessary for pumping vault type toilets and holding tanks at designated recreation sites. Key tasks include:

1. Pumping all wet excreta from toilet vaults using access cleanout ports, ensuring less than one inch of excreta remains post-pumping.

2. Removal of trash and debris found within the vaults, including beverage containers and plastic bags.

3. Proper disposal of sewage at licensed sewage disposal facilities in compliance with all health regulations.

4. Preventing spillage during pumping and hauling operations, including cleaning up any spillage on surrounding soil after pumping.

5. Utilizing biobased products to the maximum extent possible during operations.

6. Notifying the BLM Representative in case of delays or rescheduling.

Period of Performance
Base Performance Period: May 1st, 2025 to April 30th, 2026;
Option Performance Periods:
A. May 1st, 2026 to April 30th, 2027;
B. May 1st, 2027 to April 30th, 2028.

Place of Performance
Work will be performed at various recreation sites in Kootenai County, Idaho including:

- Blackwell Island Recreation Site
- Mica Bay Boater Park
- Wallace Forest Conservation Area (two service locations)
- Mineral Ridge Recreation Area (two service locations)
- Beauty Bay Recreation Site
- Killarney Lake Campground
- Windy Bay Boater Park
- Gamlin Lake
- Tingly Springs
- Sheep Springs.
