Work Details
The work includes improvements to the air conditioning system and sealing gaps in the roof and walls to eliminate dust, moisture, and contaminants entering the laboratory. This will enhance energy efficiency by reducing heat loss and gain, maintain a consistent temperature, reduce moisture levels, and increase the building's lifespan by protecting it from weather damage.

The contractor must manage all aspects of the work effort including planning, scheduling, cost accounting, report preparation, record maintenance, and quality control. Materials and equipment storage at the job site after hours requires prior approval. The contractor must notify the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) ten days in advance if any utilities must be discontinued due to scheduled work.

Employee requirements include providing qualified personnel knowledgeable about safety and environmental regulations. The contractor must also ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
