Background
The solicitation is for the Design and Construction for the Maintenance & Repair, Army Reserves (MRAR) of an Army Reserve Center (ARC), Seagoville Building 1001, located in Seagoville, Texas. The project is a two-phase procurement and the basis of award is the Best Value Trade-Off Process. The intent of this solicitation is to select one contractor for the project.

Work Details
The project comprises a total of approximately 30,000 square feet and includes repair, replacement, or installation of interior walls, doors, flooring, windows, plumbing fixtures, piping, mechanical equipment, fire suppression sprinkler system, fire alarm system/mass notification system, lighting, electrical service, information systems, exterior wall finish, roofing, exterior doors and door openings. Additionally, it involves removal of lead-based paint and asbestos as necessary. The project will be designed and constructed to current Department of Army sustainable design standards.

The construction projects will be performed at Seagoville Building 1001 located in Seagoville, Texas.
