School Bus Transportation Services from Rock Island Arsenal to Moline, Illinois Schools.   2

This is a presolicitation notice and does not constitute a solicitation. The U.S. Government is conducting market research to identify sources that are capable of procuring this requirement. Interested parties should submit by email a capability statement detailing your ability to perform these services to the POC's listed. Any contractor responding to this notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the contractor's qualifications to perform the work. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in response to this sources sought.

The Contractor shall be responsible for providing transportation of military/civilian dependents residing at Rock Island Arsenal (RIA), attending the RIA Child Development Center and/or the Youth Center to the Moline, Illinois schools to Ben Franklin Elementary, Wilson Junior High, and Moline Senior High School and then to return them to RIA. The Contractor is to provide this service for the school term beginning in August of each year and ending the following June, which is approximately 176 days per school year. The number of students riding the bus can fluctuate during the school year but approximately is in the low sixties. Buses must be able to arrive at the Rock Island Arsenal within 30 minutes of notification via the Davenport, Rock Island or Moline entrance during an emergency situation.
