The Minnesota Army National Guard (MNARNG) has approximately 78,571 pounds gross (75,593 pounds net) of expended deformed brass small arms casings stored in Gaylord boxes/pallets available for sale for recycling. Material has been deformed in accordance with DoD instruction 4715.4.
Payment upfront for the entire purchase price, shipment price, or a surety bond that covers the total price bid must be received in order to schedule a brass pickup. The payment or surety bond must be postmarked within 10 business days of notification of award. If applicable, paying upfront for multiple shipments, the first shipment will not be scheduled until the check or bond has been received. Any subsequent shipment(s) of the brass shall not be scheduled until each additional check has been received.

Background

Work Details
The sale involves approximately 75,593 pounds of deformed expended small arms brass casings in two truck loads. The material is .50 caliber and smaller brass, deformed and certified safe, containerized for shipping in Gaylord boxes/pallets on pallets. The property is located at Ammunition Supply Point, 15000 Hwy 115, Camp Ripley, Little Falls, MN 56345. The purchaser is responsible for all shipping losses and must pay all freight costs. The property will be loaded on the purchaser's truck at no cost by Camp Ripley ASP staff during normal operating hours except Saturdays, Sundays and legal Federal holidays.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Camp Ripley Ammunition Supply Point, Building 24-199, 15000 HWY 115, Little Falls, MN 56345.
