Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) service for the Dwight D. Eisenhower VA Medical Center in Leavenworth, KS. The contractor is required to provide all supplies, materials, equipment, labor, supervision, management, and transportation to perform various pest management tasks in accordance with federal, state, and local ordinances and the National Pest Control Association's Good Practice Statements. The work will be performed within the guidelines established by these regulations and standards. The contract is intended to be a single award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) five-year contract with individual bulk funded task orders issued by the NCO 15 Contracting Office.

Work Details
The tasks to be completed under the contract include inspection to determine appropriate pest management measures, recommending environmental sanitation practices, selection and utilization of non-chemical control methods, control of various pests such as insects, rodents, and vertebrates, evaluation of control measures through follow-up inspections, and other related pest management activities. The contractor is also required to conduct room treatments for bedbugs and inspections for wood destroying organisms. The work scheduling of when services will be performed should be based on the Area Treatment/Frequency Chart provided in the contract. The contractor is also responsible for coordinating treatment of specific areas with appropriate personnel in advance.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a period of performance covering five ordering years from June 1, 2024, to May 31, 2029.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Dwight D. Eisenhower VA Medical Center and selected buildings in Leavenworth, KS.
