Pre-Solicitation Notice The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office (NCO 2), Cheektowaga, New York intends to solicit quotes from contractors to provide for Janitorial Services under a single-award Firm-Fixed Priced contract for the Harlem Vet Center, 2279 3rd Avenue, 2nd Floor, New York, New York 10035. The VA anticipates issuing an RFQ for this requirement on or about January 19, 2023 to be posted to www.SAM.gov. This procurement will be solicited in accordance with FAR Part 12 Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Interested contractors will be responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from that website, and no hard copies will be made available. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the quote submission process. Perspective offerors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at the time of submission of quotes. Contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. NAICS Code is 561720 Janitorial Services with a Small Business Size Standard of $19.5 Million. The classification code is S201. The solicitation will be issued as an SDVOSB set-aside. Period of Performance: Anticipated February 15, 2023 - February 14, 2024 with a provision of four (4) options years. Description: Vendor shall provide Janitorial Services, to include all necessary supplies, equipment, and personnel for janitorial services necessary for execution of this contract including, but not limited to: vacuuming, thorough cleaning/sanitizing of restrooms, empty & wash waste receptacles, cleaning offices, high dusting & low dusting, mopping all floors thoroughly, polishing furniture & cleaning furniture, cleaning stove and fridge exterior, clean inside windows, wipe ceiling fans, cleaning air vents, vacuum & clean elevators, sweep & mop steps. Vendor shall be required to provide technical capabilities and past performance during solicitation. All responsible Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) under the identified NAICS may submit quotes to be considered by the Agency.
