Janitorial Services, DSW Mead Substation Nevada   2

Background
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), specifically the Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) within the Desert Southwest Region (DSW), is issuing this Request for Quote (RFQ) to procure janitorial services at the DSW Mead Substation located in Boulder City, Nevada.

The goal of this contract is to ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the facility, supporting WAPA's mission to deliver reliable and affordable electricity.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing comprehensive janitorial services at the DSW Mead Substation. This includes, but is not limited to:

- Regular cleaning of office spaces, restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas;
- Waste disposal;
- Floor care including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming;
- Window cleaning;
- Ensuring that all cleaning supplies are stocked and available.

The contractor must adhere to all safety and health regulations while performing these tasks.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a base performance period of 12 months starting from October 1, 2024, with four additional option years available at the discretion of the government.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the DSW Mead Substation located in Boulder City, Nevada.
