Exterior landscaping services at RTP, Durham, NC

Background
The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is issuing a Request for Proposal to award a single hybrid Firm Fixed-Price/Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract for landscaping and additional grounds services at the EPA’s Research Triangle Park (RTP) facilities in Durham, NC.

The goal of this contract is to provide comprehensive landscaping services, including stormwater pollution prevention and pest management solutions, to support the agency's mission of protecting human health and the environment.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances, and supervision required for landscaping services at the RTP facilities.

Specific tasks include:
1. Routine landscaping maintenance;
2. Replacement of plants as needed;
3. Implementation of stormwater pollution prevention measures;
4. Pest management solutions;
5. Compliance with environmental regulations related to landscaping activities.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a twelve-month base period with four (4) twelve-month option periods, totaling up to five (5) years. Additionally, there is an option to extend services for up to six months beyond the initial five-year period.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the EPA’s Research Triangle Park facilities located at 109 T.W. Alexander Dr., Durham, NC 27709.
