Compost, Food Waste and Grease Removal Service

SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Philadelphia VA Medical Center, 3900 Baltimore Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19104 is conducting a market survey to identify potential sources to provide compost, food waste and grease removal services. This announcement is issued for informational planning purposes only and is not a request for proposal or announcement of a solicitation. Submitting information for this announcement is voluntary and participants will not be compensated. The purpose of this market research is to identify capable sources of providing pick up and removal of compost, food waste and grease daily. This notice is to obtain possible sources that have the capabilities of providing all management, tools, protection, equipment and labor necessary to ensure that the waste removal is performed in a safe manner and will leave the area clean of waste and debris. All waste shall be removed, transported and disposed per local and state regulations, seven (7) days a week , including weekends and holidays. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 562111 and the small business size standard is $38.5 million. Capabilities Statement and Documentation: Firms/Companies are invited to provide their capabilities, experience and knowledge in the provision of compost, food waste and grease removal. Sources are asked to provide information to demonstrate their answers to the following items of information: 1. Company Name, Address, Website, POC, and POC Phone Number. 2. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 562111 and the small business size standard is $38.5 million for this type of effort. Based on this information, please indicate whether your company would be a Large or Small Business, and provide the average amount of sales for the last three (3) years. 3. If company holds a Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) Contract, please list the GSA Contract Number and relevant SINS. In addition to a Capability Statement which provides the above, submissions can include specifications, brochures, and manuals as attachments.
