Albany, Oregon Grounds Maintenance   2

Background
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), specifically the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) located in Albany, Oregon, is seeking a contractor for grounds maintenance services. The mission of the NETL is to advance energy technology and ensure a sustainable energy future. The goal of this contract is to maintain approximately 33 acres of various landscapes at the Albany site, ensuring that the grounds are kept in optimal condition.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, hauling, disposal, and proper protection necessary to perform grounds maintenance work as specified in the Statement of Work (SOW). The services required include:

- Mowing
- Edging
- Seeding
- Reseeding
- Weed control (including herbicide application)
- Fertilizing
- Pest control
- Tree trimming/removal and planting
- Snow removal

The contractor must comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations. Emergency cleanup may be required in cases of severe weather conditions. All work must be performed professionally and under the supervision of a competent supervisor.

Period of Performance
The contract period is from March 1, 2025 to February 28, 2030. This includes a base year and four option years.

Place of Performance
All work will be performed at the U.S. Department of Energy National Energy Technology Laboratory located at 1450 Queen Avenue SW, Albany, OR 97321.
