Background
The Toad Suck Field Office, part of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, is responsible for managing, conserving, and improving natural resources while providing quality outdoor recreation. The office is situated between the Ozark and Ouachita Mountains and oversees several parks and locks along the Arkansas River.

The goal of this contract is to provide mowing and grounds maintenance services to ensure the upkeep of these areas for public enjoyment.

Work Details
The contractor will furnish all labor, equipment, tools, and materials necessary for inspection and grounds maintenance services at the Toad Suck Field Office. Tasks include:
- Mowing and trimming across various designated areas including Cherokee Park, Toad Suck Park, Lock and Dam 8, Maumelle Park, Cooks Landing Park, and the Toad Suck Field Office itself.
- Specific areas include semi-improved and unimproved sections with varying cycles of maintenance (15 cycles for semi-improved areas and 5 cycles for unimproved areas).
- The contractor must adhere to performance standards outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS), ensuring quality control through daily inspections and reporting.
- Additional responsibilities include managing safety protocols, environmental compliance, and maintaining communication with government representatives regarding service performance.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a base period of 12 months starting from March 1, 2025, with two optional extensions of 12 months each.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at multiple locations including Cherokee Park, Toad Suck Park, Lock and Dam 8, Maumelle Park, Cooks Landing Park, and the Toad Suck Field Office in Russellville.
