Modification 06 - Provide the Q&A Document; RFP due date is extended to 03/10/25

Modification 07 - Provide the Q&A responses and the Cost Proposal Breakdown

Modification 08 - Extend the RFP due date to 03/24/25 at 1400 CST

All work shall be performed IAW the specifications and drawings and shall be completed in strict accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines. Performance includes, but is not limited to, the following:

Civil/Architectural:

Replace PVC roof membrane system on Cab Roof

Replace PVC roof membrane system on Tower Catwalk

Replace the vinyl Sidings of the ATCT including above and below the Cab windows

Construct stud structural framing and Exterior Insulation Finishing System (EIFS) on the ATCT

Construct perimeter foundation beam for EIFS

Replace the front exterior door (Storefront)

Reconstruct concrete side walk at storefront

Replace defogger system

Move all existing HVAC, electrical, utilities, and conduits away from the new building EIFS

Abate lead paint at building entrance and windows

Mechanical

Replace HVAC packaged unit on the 4th floor.

Install a mini split air conditioning unit in the Telecom room on the 4th floor.

Install common fresh air intake duct for the CAB HVAC units on the 4th floor.

Background
The contract is issued by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for the purpose of performing roof replacement and building envelope reseal at the McAllen, Texas Air Traffic Control Tower (MFE ATCT).
The goal of the contract is to ensure that all work is completed in accordance with the specifications and drawings provided, adhering strictly to manufacturer guidelines.

Work Details
The scope of work includes various civil/architectural and mechanical tasks:

- Civil/Architectural tasks involve replacing PVC roof membrane systems on both the Cab Roof and Tower Catwalk, replacing vinyl sidings of the ATCT including above and below Cab windows, constructing stud structural framing and Exterior Insulation Finishing System (EIFS) on the ATCT, constructing a perimeter foundation beam for EIFS, replacing the front exterior door (Storefront), reconstructing concrete sidewalk at storefront, replacing defogger system, moving existing HVAC, electrical utilities, and conduits away from new building EIFS, and abating lead paint at building entrance and windows.

- Mechanical tasks include replacing an HVAC packaged unit on the 4th floor, installing a mini split air conditioning unit in the Telecom room on the 4th floor, and installing a common fresh air intake duct for CAB HVAC units on the 4th floor.

Place of Performance
All construction projects will be performed at McAllen International Airport in McAllen, Texas.
