Background
The Road Construction Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract aims to support road construction requirements on the Gifford Pinchot and Olympic National Forest. The project includes a scheduled pre-bid meeting, Purcell site visit, and Contractor questions. The period of performance for the contract is from 08/15/2023 to 08/15/2028.

Work Details
The project involves various construction tasks including mobilization, construction survey and staking, contractor testing, soil erosion and pollution control, dewatering structure, clearing and grubbing, removal of corrugated metal pipe and existing asphalt, roadway excavation, select borrow placement, keyed riprap installation, aggregate base and asphalt concrete placement, culvert replacement, seeding and mulching, pavement marking, temporary traffic control, and more.
The work also includes the Purcell Creek Culvert Replacement project which involves dewatering, roadway and structural excavation, removal and legal disposal of the existing culvert and trash rack, installation of a new corrugated metal pipe culvert with riprap aprons on the inlet and outlet, screening and sorting of suitable borrow material, construction of new roadway fill, seeding and mulching.
