NASA/Johnson Space Center is issuing a solicitation for the Research, Engineering, and Mission Integration Services 2 (REMIS2) procurement, 80JSC023R0002. You are notified of the following:
- Proposals are due no later than May 16, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. Central Time.
- Questions regarding this solicitation are due to the Contracting Officer no later than April 26, 2023.
- Proposal Volume II, Past Performance, is requested early, as soon as May 2, 2023, but is not officially due until the proposal submittal date
- The Request for Proposal (RFP) has been posted in the "Attachments" section below. This RFP and associated documents supersede the Draft RFP in its entirety. Any additional documents will be available on www.sam.gov.
- The technical library is available on SAM.gov under notice ID 80JSC023REMIS2TL.
- The Pre-Proposal Conference (virtual) for this solicitation will be held on April 25, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Central Time. Attendance at the pre-proposal conference is recommended; however, attendance is neither required nor a prerequisite for proposal submission. Registration is required for each company. The registration link is located in provision L.7 of the RFP.

Background
NASA/Johnson Space Center is issuing a solicitation for the Research, Engineering, and Mission Integration Services 2 (REMIS2) procurement. The contract aims to foster development of a robust, self-sustaining, and cost-effective supply of United States commercial services to/in/from Low Earth Orbit (LEO) that accommodates both public and private demands. The contract will enable private industry/organizations to develop capabilities to provide spaceflight hardware, software, and mission integration and operations services on a commercial basis. The contract mechanism may be utilized by other Government organizations, other NASA Centers, and other NASA program offices.
Work Details
The scope of the REMIS2 contract includes procurement of spaceflight and ground hardware and software, sustaining engineering functions, engineering services, payload facility integration, and research Mission Integration and Operations (MI&O) services required by the ISS Program via contracts with multiple awardees using their commercial approaches to satisfy the SOW. The Contractor shall provide all the necessary management, personnel, facilities, equipment, materials, and supplies to deliver the products and services defined in this SOW and more specifically described in each TO. The Contractor shall operate in compliance with various NASA policies such as Configuration Management Requirements, Safety Review Process, Export Control Plan, Information Technology Security Plan and Reports, Safety and Health Plan.
