Request for Information (RFI) on Situational Awareness Data Link (SADL)

Background
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Aerial Networks Division (AFLCMC/HNA) is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the technical data, expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet qualification requirements to provide Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) to the SADL capability. The Government does not own the complete data package (hardware/software) for this system. The contractor will manage all aspects of SADL with respect to the services outlined in the SADL Performance-Based Work Statement (PWS).

Work Details
The contract will provide software maintenance as required to include various types of receiver/transmitter units as currently fielded and currently in development. The services required include Program Management, management of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), Maintenance Support (Help Desk, Technical Lab support), Travel, Data, Cybersecurity, completion of Block Cycle and Software Upgrades, and Training. The SADL system provides robust, secure, jam-resistant, and contention free air-to-air, air-to-ground, and ground-to-air data communications including combat identification with inherent position and status reporting for situational awareness. It is interoperable with Link 16 networks when using a Gateway and provides situational awareness for targeting, mission assignment ability and secure contention-free communications.

The target date for questions regarding this RFI has been extended to 28 July 2023 at 3:00 PM EST.
RFI Responses are extended to NLT 3:00 PM EST on 4 August 2023.
