Amendment 0001 to RFI :

RFI for the DSCC Columbus Studios. This is not a Sources Sought listing, At this time this is a Request for Information only.
Reference attached PWS for additional information.

Site Visit is Scheduled for: November 7th, 2024 at 10am

A pre-proposal site visit will be held on November 7th, 2024, at 10:00 AM EST. All prospective contractors are encouraged to attend.

Personnel will report to the DLA Training, building 11, Defense Supply Center (DSCC), Columbus, Ohio on November 7th, 2024, at 10:00 PM (see attached maps). Any contractor who plans to attend MUST notify the Contracting Specialist, Becky Hard via email at Becky.Hard@dla.mil NO LATER THAN (NLT) November 6th, 2024, at 2:00 PM EST.

*A pre-enrollment in the DBIDS system is required. Please visit the following link (https://dbids-global-enroll.dmdc.mil/preenrollui/#!/ ), fill out the form using Becky Hard as a sponsor, and send the resulting DBIDS number to the Contracting Specialist NLT November 6thth, 2024 by 2:00 PM EST.

Background
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) J1 Training serves as the Agency’s strategic workforce development and training solutions provider. The goal of this contract is to upgrade the broadcasting equipment in DLA J1 Training Studios 1, 2, and 3 to enhance distance learning capabilities across DLA and DoD. This non-personal services contract aims to ensure that the DLA workforce receives the necessary skills and knowledge required to support the Agency’s strategic goals.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary for the studio upgrade. Key tasks include:

- Removal of existing equipment;
- Purchase and installation of new broadcasting equipment;
- Configuration, testing, training, and commissioning of all equipment according to DLA Disposition procedures;
- Ongoing maintenance service for the new equipment.

The Contractor must also ensure compatibility with Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and provide training functionality such as producing dynamic live training with multiple input sources, incorporating audience interaction through various platforms, filming events for post-production retrieval, creating sound-proof spaces for high-quality audio production, and integrating audio/video feeds into desktop communication platforms like Adobe Connect and Microsoft Teams. Additionally, studios must operate independently to ensure functionality even if one studio fails.

The contract will be performed at the Defense Supply Center (DSCC), Columbus, Ohio.
