Description

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) hereby issues this Request for Information (RFI) for aircraft sensor services. This is for market research purposes only to determine available sources.

Responders are advised that the government will not pay any cost incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense.

Background
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), specifically the Air and Marine Operations (AMO), is conducting market research to identify sources capable of providing technical support services for various aircraft sensor systems.

The goal of this Request for Information (RFI) is to gather information regarding industry capabilities related to sustainment, maintenance, upgrades, modifications, and repairs of critical sensor equipment used in CBP's aircraft operations.

Work Details
The tasks outlined in this RFI include:

- Operational support for mission systems related to crisis and emergency management;
- Intra-agency information exchange;
- Personnel and asset tracking;
- Information assurance;
- Technical support for mission equipment with 24-hour troubleshooting assistance;
- Repair support for mission equipment including sensors, communications, radar, and other systems;
- Maintenance of specific repair benches located at CBP or contractor-leased spaces in Jacksonville, FL;
- Logistical support for technical functions;
- Performing intermediate and depot-level repairs on selected radar, communications, and sensor equipment.

Specific systems mentioned include SeaVue Radar, APG-66(V)5 Radar, AAQ-22 Star Safire II EO/IR system, Minotaur Mission System, NSIU Computer, OSI computer variants, SADS Computer, TPX-54 IFF, HF-9000 radios, and ancillary systems. The contractor will also be required to travel to military bases and other CBP locations as needed.

Period of Performance
The duration of the potential contract is expected to be five years if all option periods are exercised.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the P-3 Inventory Control Point located at 13618 Lake Fretwell Street, Jacksonville, FL and CBP Warehouse at 1065 Bulk Head Road, Green Cove Springs, FL.
