Request for Information_IVAS Next

Background
The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) is seeking information from Industry regarding capabilities to develop and manufacture the IVAS Next system. IVAS provides Soldiers and Squads a single platform for increased lethality, mobility, and situational awareness necessary to achieve overmatch against current and future adversaries. It is a 'fight first' system with the benefit of rehearse and train capabilities.

Work Details
This Request for Information (RFI) is seeking information from Industry to determine their capabilities to act as a Prime in the development and manufacturing of the IVAS Next. The RFI does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. Responses shall not exceed a page limit of ten (10) pages maximum, typed in 12-point Times New Roman font, single spaced, one (1) inch margins, with appendices or attachments included in the page count.

The RFI requests vendors to detail their capabilities and experience with development or production manufacturing of IVAS Next like products, including technical specifications, Technical Readiness Level/Manufacturing Readiness Level, future roadmaps for product development and improvement, military specificity, experience with Night Vision devices, human systems engineering considerations, testing processes, novel sensors experience, simulation or training capabilities, utilization of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, percentage of product manufactured in the US / ITAR compliant, company’s experience and knowledge of the Army’s two-levels of maintenance policy, developing an Army organic maintenance concept for products, hardware and software maintenance experience, developing Technical Manuals and training materials for products in Mil-Std formats.

Period of Performance
Responses shall be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time on Friday, 10 October 2023.
