Request for Information: Halvorsen Aircraft Cargo Loader (ACL) Bridge   3

Background
The solicitation is a Request for Information (RFI) for the Halvorsen Aircraft Cargo Loader (ACL) Bridge program. The purpose of the RFI is to conduct market research to identify potential sources with the expertise, capabilities, and experience to support Aircraft Cargo Loaders (ACL) in four output-oriented areas: Pipeline/Material Management, Sustaining Engineering, Repair, and Overhaul. The government has determined that this system is a modified commercial item and DRS is the known sole source contractor for this effort due to complexity and urgency needed for Halvorsen sustainment support.

Work Details
The work involves overhauling and supporting the Halvorsen 25k Aircraft Cargo Loader. The contractor is responsible for providing all material, support equipment, tools, test equipment, and services. The effort includes supporting ACLs in four areas: Pipeline/Material Management, Sustaining Engineering, Repair, and Overhaul. The strategy will be one 1-year bridge or two 5-year (1 basic year and 4 option years) bridge efforts to ensure worldwide support for parts, engineering, repair, and overhaul are maintained.

Period of Performance
The responses to the Capability Survey Part I and Part II must be received no later than close of business 16 Feb 2024.
