Description

The Contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary for the assembly, installation, and monthly service of wireless and landline commercial internet services at JBSA-Lackland Library, 1930 George Avenue, Building 6114, Lackland AFB, TX 78236. The Contractor shall be responsible for circuit testing and troubleshooting once extended. Contractor shall be responsible for Heat Map to determine number of Wireless Access Points for coverage. Contractor shall provide all necessary patch cables and equipment to extend the circuit from the Base Commercial Demarc, Bldg 5100 to Bldg 6114. This includes placing required wiring and any other equipment deemed necessary.This is an annual service contract with a base year and four option renewal years.

Background
The contract is issued by the Air Force for the Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Lackland Library, which is classified as a Core mission and falls under Category A (100% APF).

The goal of this annual service contract is to provide both wireless and hardwired commercial internet capabilities, specifically dedicated fiber optic internet access, to support the library's operations and ensure compliance with Department of Defense Library Core Standards (DoDLS).

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary for the assembly, installation, and monthly service of wireless and landline commercial internet services at JBSA-Lackland Library.

Responsibilities include:
- Circuit testing and troubleshooting;
- Creating a Heat Map to determine the number of Wireless Access Points needed for coverage;
- Providing all necessary patch cables and equipment to extend the circuit from the Base Commercial Demarc (Bldg 5100) to Bldg 6114;
- Placing required wiring and any other necessary equipment.

The contractor must ensure that all Government provided PCs are fully operational with commercial internet service. They will also be responsible for monitoring on-premises equipment, connectivity, signal quality, and capacity 24/7/365. They must notify the Government within 4 hours during normal duty hours if there is a degradation of services. Additionally, they are required to provide web-based access to a dashboard monitoring capability.

Period of Performance
This is an annual service contract with a base year and four option renewal years. The contractor will ensure that internet services are fully operational by May 30, 2025.

The work will be performed at 1930 George Ave, Building 6114, JBSA Lackland, TX 78236.
