Replace HVAC Unit-Bldg. 1 - Fayetteville, AR   3

This is a pre-solicitation notice.

The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Southeast Area (SEA) Poultry Production & Product Safety Research Center, located in Fayetteville, AR., has a requirement to Replace HVAC unit.

The work includes but is not limited to: The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment and perform all work in strict accordance with these Statement of Work/Specifications to provide and install one AAON Self Contained HVAC (or approved equal) unit in Building #1 located at the USDA-ARS-SEA, Poultry Production & Product Safety Research Center, 1471 W. Knapp Street, Fayetteville, AR 72704.

Add Alternate Option: Provide one more of the exact same unit for installation in Building #2. If the option is exercised, the same SOW applies in its entirety to the second building.

USDA ARS SEA intends to issue a Request for Proposals for a firm fixed priced contract, subject to the availability of funds. The solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238220 with a size standard of $16.5M. Contractors shall not directly contact the facility to discuss this requirement. During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions.

This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute the Request for Proposal (RFP). The Government anticipates issuing an RFP for this requirement on about August 8, 2022. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for these services.
