Replace Boilers Mat Building at U.S. Coast Guard, ANT New York, Bayonne, New Jersey, PSN 13920142

Background
The U.S. Coast Guard is issuing this contract for the replacement of heating equipment at the Maintenance Augmentation Team (MAT) Building located in Bayonne, NJ. The goal of this contract is to enhance the heating system by removing outdated oil-fired boilers and installing more efficient natural gas-fired boilers.

This project aligns with the agency's mission to maintain operational readiness and efficiency in its facilities.

Work Details
The contractor is required to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, disposal, and supervision necessary to complete the following tasks:
1. Remove two existing oil-fired cast-iron sectional boilers and other central heating plant equipment.
2. Install new natural gas-fired boilers, including necessary components such as combustion and ventilation air systems, insulation, supports, piping, pumps, and an expansion tank.
3. Provide temporary heat for three months as an optional item.

All work must comply with the specifications outlined in PSN 13920142 (164 pages) and Drawings P13920142 (20 sheets).

Period of Performance
The contractor shall commence work within 10 calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed and must complete all work within 200 calendar days from that date.
