Replace Basement Carpet for Stones River National

Background
The National Park Service – Contracting Operations East – West Contracting Office is seeking to replace the worn carpeting and wall base in the basement of the Visitor Center at Stones River National Battlefield. The facility was last updated in 2004, and this project aims to enhance the visitor experience by updating approximately 1,500 square feet of carpeting and preparing, repairing, and painting approximately 1,120 square feet of interior walls.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Replace approximately 1,500 square feet of worn carpeting with carpet squares to allow for easy replacement of individual squares in case of stains or damage.
2. Prepare and repair interior walls, including painting metal frames around doors and two office windows.
3. The basement rooms are irregularly shaped, requiring additional carpet squares to accommodate angle cuts and minimize waste.
4. All work must adhere to the specifications provided in the Statement of Work.

Period of Performance
The contract period of performance is from March 17, 2025, to March 28, 2025.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Stones River National Battlefield located at 3501 Old Nashville Highway, Murfreesboro, TN 37129.
