Background
This is a Sources Sought notice for small businesses capable of providing water well repair services at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Fort Sam Houston. The notice is being used for market research purposes only and is not a Request for Quote.

Work Details
The work includes repairing water well #8 and incidental related work, such as removal of the submersible pump, assessment of related components including electrical, mechanical, and control systems, repair or replacement of the pump, testing and reporting in accordance with Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) standards. It also involves demolition, thorough assessment of the existing well, disconnecting and extracting the pump, shutting off the power supply, disconnecting and extracting all pipes connecting the pump to the water source and distribution system, environmental waste disposal, new work site survey, examination and repair/replacement of pump components, assessment and repair/replacement of electrical connections and components, assessment and repair/replacement of plumbing components, compliance with base access requirements, development and maintenance of a quality control program, provision of shop drawings and product schematics on work completed and accepted by the government, project management with a single point of contact for overall management and supervision during install periods, daily cleanup and waste disposal in compliance with regulations, compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and codes, quality control procedures development addressing specific areas identified in the Service Summary section of the document.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Fort Sam Houston in Texas.
