Repair Roof - Building 208   3

Background
The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island requests a proposal for the Repair Roof Building 208 on the Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL. The project involves the replacement of an existing low-slope Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) roof with a new EPDM roofing system. The project will consist of a Base Bid (Phase 1) and two Bid Options (Phase 2 and Phase 3). All work is to be done in accordance with the Scope of Work (SOW) for Project 2024-241.

Work Details
The project includes furnishing all labor and material necessary to complete the installation of a new roofing system and new roof expansion joint systems on Building 208. The completion date for Phase 1-Base Bid is set at 130 workdays after notice to proceed.
Phase 2-Bid Option one consists of completing the installation of a new roofing system within an additional 130 workdays, while Phase 3-Bid Option two involves completing the installation of a new roofing system and roof expansion joint system within an additional 130 workdays. The requirement will be competed as a 100% Small Business Set Aside.

Period of Performance
The project completion date is set at 130 working days from the date of the Notice to Proceed for the base bid, with additional timeframes for the bid options if exercised.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Building 208 located at the US Army Garrison, Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, Illinois.
