Repair 2nd Floor HVAC B90029 at Hurlburt Field, Fl   3

Background
The solicitation is for the repair of the 2nd Floor HVAC B90029 at Hurlburt Field, Florida. The work is required in support of the 1st Special Operations Civil Engineer Squadron. The contract will be awarded under Part 14, Sealed Bidding, and Part 19, Small Business Programs. It is anticipated that this requirement will be 100% set aside for Small Business. The estimated magnitude for the total project is between $250K and $500K.

Work Details
The work includes the replacement of three chilled water/hot water AHUs with one chilled water VAV AHU and VAV terminal units with electric heat, exhaust fan, and automatic dampers on the second floor. Additionally, the existing mechanical equipment shall be removed by the mechanical contractor, and the electrical contractor shall disconnect existing equipment. New HVAC equipment as indicated on the drawings shall have new wiring, conduit, and disconnect.

The work also involves replacing an existing 100 amp, 480V, 3 phase HMB panel with a new larger HMB panel to support the larger AHUs and installing a new 480V, 3 phase M2 panel to serve the new VAV/strip heat equipment.

Period of Performance
The overall contract delivery period is from the date of lead time event to completion of performance within 357 calendar days from the date of notice to proceed receipt.

The construction projects will be performed at Hurlburt Field, Florida.
