Remote Target Engagement System and Electronic Security System

Background
The Force Protection Division of the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC/HBU) is conducting market research to determine the availability and adequacy of potential business sources for the design and installation of Integrated Base Defense Security System (IBDSS) physical security and force protection systems.

The goal is to identify industry capabilities to provide integrated Remote Target Engagement Systems (RTES) and Electronic Security Systems (ESS) for Protection Level 1 Nuclear (PL 1N) resources, ensuring the protection of personnel and facilities.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the design, integration, and installation of an integrated PL 1N RTES and ESS. This includes capabilities to deter, anticipate, deny, detect, report, delay, assess, and track hostile forces and targets.

The systems must provide a means for final denial to prevent access to resources. The work will involve one Air Force Base project planned within the next year, with potential for additional projects at other bases receiving modernized facilities.
