This notice is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation under FAR Part 12 Commercial Items. Solicitation with all attachments are attached to this notice.

This Solicitation will result in multiple (#'s most advantageous to the Government) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts . Base plus 3 years. Task Orders will be competed with awarded contractors. It is expected that Task Orders may be required for work to begin & completed this season.

The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, certifications, livestock (as needed), supplies, water, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform noxious weed treatments as defined in this Performance Work Statement, except for those items specified as government furnished property and services. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract. Specific treatment areas on the Pike and San Isabel National Forests will be identified in each task order.

Treatment of noxious weeds in areas of the Pike and San Isabel National Forests, and reporting of those treatments, in compliance with terms, specifications, conditions and provisions contained in the solicitation. Weeds shall be sprayed primarily by spot spraying. Noxious weed occurrences are often very small (<1/1000 ac) and widely scattered. Task orders may range from 50 acres to over 1000 acres. Multiple task orders may be given in a year.

The scope includes the following treatment and reporting types:

  1. Vehicle or ATV/UTV-accessible treatment/reporting of noxious weed occurrences
  2. Horse, pack animal, and/or backpack-accessible treatment/reporting of noxious weed occurrences

Contract Period of Performance will from award date through 31 December 2021 and any exercised option years will be 12 months, beginning from January 1, of the option year. Services covered in this solicitation and resultant contract are to be performed during the field seasons.

A prebid conference is to be determined. Any forthcoming amendments must be signed & attached to contarctors Proposal/Quote.
