Reefer & Dry Van Trucking Services DeCA & 35th ADA

Background
This contract is issued by the United States Forces Korea (USFK) for Reefer and Dry Van Trucking Services to support the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) and the 35th Air Defense Artillery (ADA).

The goal of this contract is to ensure the efficient transportation of refrigerated and dry goods for US Government operations in Korea, adhering to specified technical requirements outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and resources to perform transportation services. This includes:
- Transporting refrigerated items using reefer trucks and dry items using dry vans.
- Ensuring deliveries are completed within 12 hours of loading.
- Providing a minimum of ten (10) reefer trucks and ten (10) dry trucks owned by the contractor.
- Developing a Quality Control Program to monitor performance and ensure compliance with service standards.
- Tasking procedures must be followed, including confirmation of vehicle types and numbers with the Ordering Officer.
- Conducting inspections of trucks before loading to ensure suitability for transporting goods.
- No consolidated loads between government shipments and commercial shipments are allowed.

Period of Performance
The effective period includes a two-month Phase-In period from January 1, 2025, to February 28, 2025, followed by a ten-month base performance period from March 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025. There are also four one-year option periods extending up to five years total.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in support of USFK operations in Korea.
