Redstone Wide Engineering Services (RWES) - DRAFT Solicitation

The Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) intends to issue a solicitation for Engineering Services Support at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. It will be set-aside for Small Businesses under NAICS 541712 (exception for space vehicles and guided missiles). The resulting contract is expected to be a five year (one year Base Period, four one-year Option Periods) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ).

The Redstone Wide Engineering Services (RWES) will support the following RTC major test areas:
Aviation and Flight Testing, Environmental and Component Testing, Missile and Sensor Testing for the Warfighter and may relate to hardware, equipment, instrumentation, infrastructure, software, or procedures and processes and all their unique program of technical data acquisition, processing, analysis, evaluation and reporting in the areas of aviation, propulsion, infrared measurements, human factors engineering, image technology, engineering performance, climatic environments, dynamic and electromagnetic environments.

A formal solicitation release is planned for the beginning of May 2016. The solicitation number will be W91CRB-16-R-0024.

The official release of the solicitation will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at the following address: https://www.fbo.gov/. The on-line version of the RFP will include all documents of the solicitation package. No hard copy of the solicitation will be issued. Amendments, if any, will be posted at the same location as the solicitation. The complete solicitation package, including amendments, should be received and reviewed prior to submitting a response.
