Raiders Challenge - HVAC Rental   2

Background
The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, management, materials, and equipment for the rental, delivery, and maintenance of HVAC units for the Raiders Challenge 2024. The goal is to ensure that four GP Medium tents maintain a comfortable internal temperature range of 72 to 78 degrees Fahrenheit despite external temperature fluctuations.

The agency requires these units to support personnel operations during training exercises at Fort Knox.

Work Details
The contractor is responsible for providing four self-supported HVAC units, each capable of heating and cooling a 16'x 32' GP Medium tent with an insulated rating of R1 and dirt base flooring. Each unit must maintain an interior temperature between 72 and 78 degrees Fahrenheit for up to 16 personnel who will be frequently entering and exiting the tents.

The HVAC units must have the capability to feed two 20-inch tent penetration points located approximately 2 feet above the ground on one end of the tent. The contractor must ensure that all systems are operational by October 23, 2024, with a requirement to maintain the desired temperature until October 27, 2024.
