Amendment 0008- VHA Integrated Healthcare Transformation (IHT) 2.0 IDIQ   3

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has released a Draft Solicitation for the VHA Integrated Healthcare Transformation (IHT) 2.0 IDIQ contract. The purpose of this contract is to provide best value healthcare and professional consulting services to VHA through a pool of highly qualified Veteran Integrated contractor Teams (VITs). The resulting acquisition vehicle will be a multiple award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, which balances VA’s obligation to provide direct contracting opportunities to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) and the VHA National Program's need to obtain maximum value from healthcare-related professional service expenditures.

Work Details
The scope of work includes providing support for integrated healthcare strategic planning, program evaluation, business process reengineering, change management, quality management, strategic communications and executive support, artificial intelligence development and application in healthcare. The contractor is expected to support organizational change, transition management, implementation of major initiatives, communications associated with major initiatives, risk assessment, and organizational transformation and culture change. Additionally, the contractor shall provide support for quality management systems, tools, and techniques to help organizations transform.

The contractor is also expected to assist in defining, implementing, and executing a communications strategy that establishes consistent messaging, public relations management, and structured internal and external communication practices.

Period of Performance
The anticipated official release of the Request for Proposal is March 14, 2024. Phase I submissions are due at 12:00 PM ET on TBD. Phase II proposal due date is also TBD.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at various locations across the United States.
