Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing a solicitation for unarmed security services at the Kansas City Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) in Kansas City, MO.
The goal of this contract is to ensure the safety and security of the facility and its personnel.
This procurement is being conducted with an emphasis on providing high-quality service through a performance-based approach.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing unarmed security services at the Kansas City VAMC.
Key tasks include:
1. Ensuring the safety and security of the facility, staff, and visitors.
2. Monitoring access to the premises and conducting regular patrols.
3. Responding to incidents and emergencies as they arise.
4. Maintaining communication with local law enforcement as necessary.
5. Submitting regular reports on security activities and incidents to the VA management.
6. The contract will be structured as an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with individual task orders issued by the Network Contracting Office (NCO) 15.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a five-year period of performance, starting from February 1, 2025, to January 31, 2030, divided into five ordering periods.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Kansas City VAMC located at 4801 Linwood Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64128.
