Mission Support Services for White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico   2

The Army Contracting Agency, White Sands Missile Range, Directorate of Contracting has a requirement for mission support services at White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico. The contractor will be required to provide non-personal services to include o peration, maintenance, research and development and other support of facilities, systems and equipment to meet the White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) test operations mission. The contractor shall furnish engineering, technical, administrative, maintenance, and support services necessary and incident to performance of the requirement. Labor and materials costs will be normalized. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued 8 August 2006 with an estimated closing date of 8 September 2006. Award w ill be made using best value, trade-off procedures. A cost-plus-award-fee type contract is anticipated. The potential period of the contract will be ten years. It is anticipated that award will be made by 25 October 2006, with a one month phase-in perio d. Full performance is anticipated to commence 1 December 2006. This requirement is being solicited under full and open competition. The North American Industrial Classification System Code is 541330, with a small business size standard of $25 million.
