Description

General Services Administration (GSA), Federal Supply Service, Management Services Center, Auburn, WA, intends to post the refreshed Standing Solicitation for Multiple Award Schedule 874V Logistics Worldwide (Logworld). It will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website on the Internet at http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about March 17, 2002. This standing solicitation will be an unrestricted, full and open competition under NAICS 541614. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by this agency. The new solicitation number TFTP-MB-0087405-C will replace solicitation number TFTP-MB-0087405-B, (posted on March 20, 2000) and includes updated clauses and provisions. If offerors have not expended significant effort under the previous versions it is requested that they propose under the refreshed solicitation. After 30 days from the posting date, only offers under the refreshed solicitation will be accepted. The types of commercial services covered under this solicitation will include: (1) Supply and Value Chain Management; (2) Acquisition Logistics; (3) Distribution and Transportation Logistics; (4) Deployment Logistics; and (5) Logistics Training Services. Contractors will provide services to Federal ordering agencies as specified in task orders issued under this Schedule. Domestic and/or overseas work performance will be required. Contracts awarded will have variable contract periods and will be Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contracts, allowing for Labor Hour and Fixed Price Task Orders. Contracts periods will commence on the date of award and expire five years from the date of award unless extended in accordance with the NEW contract clause, I-FSS-163 OPTION TO EXTEND THE TERM OF THE CONTRACT (EVERGREEN), which contains three 5-year options.
