Medical Services - Anaconda Job Corps Center; Anaconda, MT

Background
The Anaconda Job Corps Center is in need of basic health services provided by licensed medical professionals for at-risk youth and young adults. The Job Corps program, under the U.S. Department of Labor, provides a wide range of services including basic education, vocational skills training, residential living program, healthcare, and related support services. The program is designed to help each student become a responsible and productive citizen.

Work Details
The contract requires the provision of on-site medical services for all students on the center, including examinations and assessments, treatment, issuance of prescriptions and immunizations, monitoring health conditions, recommending hospitalization, follow-up care, and prevention planning and intervention. The medical services must adhere to applicable Federal laws/regulations, OSHA and HIPAA requirements, state and local laws, and guidelines of the American Medical Association. Additionally, the contractor must coordinate and integrate the medical services program with other health and wellness components/activities on the center and provide medical services to enrollees and established students on center. The contractor's personnel are also required to possess the ability to work both independently and as a member of a healthcare team to provide optimal services to a population of financially disadvantaged youth.

Period of Performance
The medical services are required on center (with rare exceptions) on a weekly basis during days of the week and hours established in coordination with Center personnel. The days and times of services shall be upon mutual agreement between the Contractor and center personnel.
