The solicitation is for the purchase of Chelated Copper Algaecide for the Washington Aqueduct in Washington, D.C. Work Details
The Chelated Copper Algaecide must meet specific requirements including a chemical name of Chelated Copper Algaecide, a strength of 5% as Copper, delivery form in Tote (275-gallon), and NSF/ANSI Certification: 60.
The packaging and labeling must comply with the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act.
The maximum total contract capacity is not to exceed 210 totes over the three-year contract duration with a minimum quantity of 15 totes.
Upon contract award, the Offeror must provide various information including a product information bulletin from the product manufacturer, certification from an accredited certification organization of compliance with NSF/ANSI 60, Safety Data Sheet (SDS) complying with paragraph (g) of 29 CFR 1910.1200, contact information for sales, ordering, dispatching, delivery, technical support, and safety information, emergency contact number and email address, and a completed signed Accident Prevention Plan (APP).

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the contract is three years from the date of award, totaling 36 months.

Place of Performance
The Chelated Copper Algaecide will be delivered to the Washington Aqueduct's Dalecarlia Water Treatment facility in Washington, D.C.
