Project Management Support for the 374th Communications Squadron, Plans & Programs Flight (374 CS/SCX) at Yokota Air Base, Japan

Background
The 374th Communications Squadron (374 CS) is conducting a market survey to identify potential sources for providing Project Management Support for the Plans & Programs Flight (374 CS/SCX) at Yokota Air Base, Japan.

The mission of the 374 CS includes supporting communications, computer, audio, visual, and information management systems for various organizations including Headquarters United States Forces in Japan (USFJ), Headquarters Fifth Air Force (5 AF), and the 374th Airlift Wing (374 AW).

This contract aims to enhance project management capabilities for projects that also support Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) infrastructure and high frequency radio services for the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM) Region.

Work Details
The Project Management Support Contractor shall provide all personnel and supervision necessary to perform project management support tasks including:
1. Coordinating and attending multiple briefings such as:
- Bi-weekly Infrastructure and Cable Maintenance Brief
- Monthly Commanders Briefing
- Monthly 374th Civil Engineering Squadron and 374 CS Brief
- Monthly Line-Item Review Brief
2. Building multiple types of projects which include:
- Project initiation tasks like compiling scope statements, stakeholder lists, risk lists, requirements lists, PWS/SOW documentation, IGCEs, and loading projects into CIPS.
- Project planning tasks including sending work task requests to 374 CES, conducting market research for potential vendors, coordinating manpower reviews, submitting AF Forms for funding processes, conducting vendor site visits, scheduling kickoff meetings, performing bi-weekly site walkthroughs during installation, and managing PWS/SOW modifications.
3. Project closeout activities such as scheduling quality assurance inspections, creating project punch lists for completion verification, obtaining acceptance documents (AFTO 747), documenting lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle, updating CIPS visualization components with new installation information, and ensuring CIPS requirements are closed out post-project payment.
