Preventative Maintenance for Honeywell HVAC Equipment for White Earth Health Center

Background
The Indian Health Service (IHS) is issuing this Request for Quotation (RFQ) to provide preventative maintenance for Honeywell HVAC equipment at the White Earth Health Center. The goal of this contract is to ensure the efficient operation and longevity of HVAC systems, which are critical for maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for health services.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all personnel, transportation, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to complete the required service. This includes bi-annual inspection, testing, and preventative maintenance of HVAC equipment at the White Earth Service Unit. Major duties include:
1. Bi-annually inspecting and testing HVAC equipment to determine operating condition and efficiency, including typical tests for motor winding resistance, refrigerant charge, safety controls, etc.
2. Providing preventative maintenance such as cleaning coil surfaces, calibrating safety controls, tightening electrical connections, and adjusting refrigerant charge.
3. Completing startup and shutdown procedures for air conditioning equipment in spring and fall respectively.
4. Providing annual preventative maintenance for boiler systems.
5. Submitting a report after each bi-annual work detailing work performed and any defects found.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a base year with options for four additional years.
