Pre-Solicitation Notice DISA Processor Capacity Services (ZIPPCS)   2

This Pre-Solicitation Notice serves as notification to industry of the upcoming Request for Proposal (RFP) package for DISA, Operations Center Z Series, Itanium, and System P Processor Capacity Services (ZIPPCS). The awardees for the current processor capacity services (PCS) contracts are HC1028-13-D-0001 (Z-Series), AECOM,
HC1028-13-D-0003 (Itanium), Hewlett Packard Enterprises, and HC1028-13-D-0005 (System P), ViON Corporation.
This requirement is to provide processor capacity services (PCS) and support for the DISA Operations Center by acquiring, transporting, installing, configuring, un-installing, and providing other necessary services for hardware (including cabinets/racks/cabling/cable management/power distribution units (PDU's), hardware maintenance, operating system software, and hypervisor visualization software to support the processor infrastructure associated as a capacity service. The solicitation and resulting contract will consist of a 5-year base period, with five 1-year options.
DITCO intends to negotiate a single Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) type contract. DITCO anticipates to make award selection of this competitive aquisition by utilizing FAR 15 Best Value Tradeoff Analysis.
