Background
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) The Research, Education, and Economics (REE) Mission Area, Agricultural Research Service (ARS), NAL, Animal Welfare Information Center (AWIC) is seeking post-production video editing services and processing support for the 11th annual 3Rs Symposium (replacement, reduction, and refinement of animal use). The goal of the symposium is to bring together experts and practitioners interested in the behavior of laboratory animals to discuss 3Rs methods while maintaining or improving scientific results, practical solutions and success stories using the 3Rs, and educate participants on novel non-animal models and refinement and enrichment strategies.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide postproduction video editing services for the 11th annual 3Rs Symposium held virtually on September 4th, 5th, 11th, and 12th, 2024. This includes editing videos compatible with YouTube presentation, merging video presentations with slides for each lecture, processing and formatting transcriptions and captions to meet Section 508 requirements, correcting grammatical and punctuation errors within the audio transcript for each video presentation, adding USDA bumpers to each video provided by AWIC. The total period of performance will be approximately from August 1, 2024, to October 30, 2024. The place of performance will be virtual/remote.
